About Us
The North Houston Catholic High School committee is made up of 7 active members and about 7 support members, in addition to  the 6 Pastors who lead parishes that have a Catholic grade school.

We are following the very successful effort of Pope John XXIII Catholic High School that opened in 2004.

We plan to build a 300
student co-ed high school
in our first phase and eventually grow to an 800 student high school as we are able to raise the funds.

The new high school will be fed by all the parishes in the north part of Houston of which St Anne, St Anthony of Padua, St Edwards, St Martha, St Mary Magdalene, and Sacred Heart in Conroe have Catholic grade schools.  Enrollment in these schools exceeds 2000 students K through 8.

This will be a private Catholic high school run by a non-profit Board of Directors who will follow the guidance and leadership of the Cardinal Archbishop and the Superintendent of Catholic schools.  We will be accredited by the TCEED  http://www.txcatholic.org/education.aspd

We have purchased a 63 acre site on Spring Stuebner road about 3 miles west of I45.

We have completed a feasibility study and a 52 page plan which we submitted to the Archdiocesan Catholic School Board.  Cardinal NiNardo notified us in a letter that we are approved to open the high school. The Plan submitted to the School Board can be found by clicking these words.

Our 501 (c) (3) was approved on June 25, 2009 retroactive to July 18, 2008.

Prayer for the North Houston Catholic High School

Most Holy Spirit, we ask for Your wisdom and Your grace as we follow the call within our hearts to establish a Catholic high school for our children.

When there was a need to change hearts, You acted through Jesus to provide moments of miraculous transformations. When there was a need for bread, You acted through Jesus to create abundance from a meager amount.  When there was a need for wine, You acted through Jesus to have wine in abundance.

In every celebration of the Eucharist, Your action transforms the work of our hands into the Body and Blood of Christ, that we might continually share in His abundant life.

We trust in You as we work to make this school a reality. We call upon You to guide us as we work to bring about the Kingdom of God on earth.  Amen.

Please provide what we need to make Your school a reality.  Amen.
